BUG review
Siesta Backpackers is part of a converted motel east of the city centre. Every room comes with a TV and an en suite bathroom, and the biggest has four beds. There’s a small shared kitchen, not fully-equipped, and a courtyard area with a trampoline, swings and picnic tables. It’s clean and quiet, although it doesn’t have any kind of hostel atmosphere, with very limited opportunities for socialising. Still, if you’re just looking for a place to catch a siesta, it makes an alternative to the busier working hostels in Hastings.

Hi, This is the best hostel I have ever stayed at. It is exceptionally clean and well run. The rooms are like a motel, linen is supplied at no extra cost. The rooms have phones, colour t.v.,radio, electric blankets, carpet, showertoilet unlimited hot water, fridge, jug tea and coffee making facilities ect.The quiet BBQ area and picnic tables are excellent a very clean kitchen is something unusual Ihave not always found in other backpackers. The hostel is a short walk to Vidals restaurant wine bar 200m, the company there is exceptional.I was asked to pay an extracharge for taking a girl to my room.Splash planet water theme park is a 10min.walk away. The hostel is oppositea Shell shop with a full rage of supplies. There was plentyof off street parking with security lighting at night.I think this place will be very hard to get into when the word goes arround.
