BUG review
This is a small, charming log house on a hill just outside Taihape. The lodge is filled with lots of solid-wood furnishings; the kitchen is especially attractive with sturdy chopping blocks and counters and a big solid breakfast bar. The dorm rooms themselves are pretty bare and rustic. An outdoor deck has great views over the town, with Mount Ruapehu in the background. A common room is quite cosy as well. Meals are available, as are laundry and internet.
