BUG review
Wanganui's YHA hostel consists of just 10 beds at the rear of a B&B, by the riverfront not far from Tamara Lodge. It is a neat and tidy hostel with facilities that include a small lounge with a TV, internet access including Wi-Fi (pay) and a kitchen. There is also an outdoor area where you can sit and have a few drinks.

Don't know how the review before was ascertained. we didn't have to access or go through reception . Hostel part has private entrance which is lockable. has superb outside bedrooms all lockable and centrally heated, nice fresh bed linen provided free both in the Dorms and the Cabins. we upgraded to the BandB side and what an amazing experience.. Olde worlde style accom and so beautiful! Lovely Piano and games to do, free Videos Free soup in the winter when we were there. Friendly helpful staff with free pick up from set down points. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, overall a very tasty hostel. Snaggs and Rochelle
