BUG review
Sequoia is a good medium-size hostel on Nelson Square, a short walk or bike ride from the town centre. There are several common areas including a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area, two lounges (one with internet access and the other with a fireplace) plus a TV roon. There is also a covered outdoor barbecue area and a spa pool. Guests have free use of bikes and hot chocolate pudding and ice cream is served every night.

Loved this hostel! Really cute and homely. Bags of atmosphere. Got free shuttle from and to the ferry so the location didn't matter. We liked it so much we didn't even go into Picton itself! Hot tub is great and you can book a 1/2 private slot. Chocolate pudding - AMAZING! Free tea/coffee and breakfast. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Stayed here in Dec 06. We had a double on suite, these are small wooden chalet type buildings that were clean and tidy. Good friendly helpful staff easy walking distance to the few shops. Kitchen facilitys were ample and they have a jaccuzi.

Was met by v.helpful staff that offered me n my girlfriend a free ride to the ferry terminal for the following morning. The rooms were clean but a wee bit cold. There was hot filter coffee on to help urself to when we arrived and there was a free breakfast the morning we left with home made bread, cereals n loads of spreads n fresh filter coffee.( Can u tell i loved the coffee?!!!!) Definately recommend this hostel but not the place to go if u wanna party loads.

This is a small but very warm (log fires!) and friendly hostel, with all the usual facilities. A great selection of videos for if you're bored and the free soup and bread in the evenings is a great touch! I enjoyed my stay here. The only thing I would say is that security isn't great. The dorms have no locks and the doors just kept open. There is the main door to the building with a security code but it was always open too. I'm sure its pretty safe, but just for peace of mind its nice to have locks!I thought it was a little overpriced too for the area at $20 off season.
