BUG review
This excellent hostel is a great budget accommodation option for travellers visiting Picton. It is comprised of an old house that has the common areas plus a purpose-built accommodation block; this works well to keep the noise away from people who want to get some sleep. There are several lounge areas including one with a piano and dining tables , another quiet reading room, a TV lounge and an enclosed outdoor space with a pool table and a long natural wooden bench where you can sit with a beer and watch the boats come in. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen, a barbecue area and spa pool overlooking the harbour. Tombstone Backpackers is on a hill near the cemetery and is very close to the Blue Bridge ferry terminal, however it is around a 5-10 minute walk through an industrial area to get to the town centre.
