BUG review
The Laughing Kiwi is made up of two houses that are bright and nicely maintained with great travel photography and good furnishings throughout. Dorms are colourful with made-up beds and the clean bathrooms have great showers. There are two fully-equipped kitchens. They offer laundry, internet access, and an outdoor spa. Location is good and there is a convivial atmosphere.

There are 2 blocks; 1 new, 1 old. Stayed in new one, in a double room w/out ensuite. Good sized room at a good rate. Stayed here for 3 nights. So glad we picked Laughing Kiwi as it was so cosy to return to after touring the area. Bathroom and kitchen are spacious. There are internet facilities, laundry and a spa. Interesting pictures on the wall of different countries the owner has been to. Parking spaces aplenty. We checked out the old block and it looked quite cosy too. The only downside is that floor can be quite noisy when guests are walking up and down. However, by nightfall, it was quiet anyway when everyone went to sleep. Too bad it was busy period so we didn't get to try the owner's famous muffins.
