BUG review
Nelson’s Beach Hostel is in a large old house that could be better maintained, but it has a homely atmosphere and is kept clean. The bathrooms are nice and clean, but the kitchen is a bit old. There is a comfy lounge with log fire, books and guitars, and a good upstairs veranda with wooden breakfast tables. Dorms are comfortable and relatively clean. This hostel caters mostly to workers. Reception staff are pleasant.

the beach hostel rocked! Barry and Colin are the coolest hosts -- always willing to help out. its a great old house-turned hostel. great atmosphere, great location near the beach and even though its a little older, i found it pretty clean. great hard-working cleaning crew! best hostel i've been too. and if you don't have a car to get to town, take one of their cool retro bikes!
