BUG review
This large site close to the centre of town has areas for tents and campervans as well as accommodation in motel units and small cabins. Backpackers are generally put in the cabins, which are little more than wooden boxes with a big window and simple beds inside. They’re clean, anyway. Motel units are significantly nicer. Facilities include a big outdoor barbecue area and a spa pool ($6 per ½ hour). The kitchen is not bad, but showers are coin-operated and the TV room is in an outdoor lean-to with crumbling furniture. With the mixed use of the park, it doesn’t have a real “hostel” feel.
