BUG review
Set in a fine old country house, this hostel has plenty of character. Inside, it is carefully maintained, with a newly renovated kitchen and good showers. There is a quiet common area with log fire, books and internet access as well as a nice outdoor garden with barbecue. The dorms are spacious and clean, some with gorgeous log fireplaces and stained glass bay windows. There are laundry facilities and information about the town and surrounding area. It has a low-key atmosphere and a residential location. It is a good place to relax.

We arrived just after the beginning of their lunch break, and the reception didn't come back for 3 hours! They lost our reservations, so instead of a private room, we were put in a dorm room that was unoccupied. Didn't get to see any of the other rooms, but I wouldn't go here if you are allergic to mold. The soft, nonsupportive mattresses smelled of body odor. The only place for smokers was the front porch, outside our window. No fresh air. Showers and facilities were nice, but the room was repulsive.javascript:emoticon('')

It's not a usual backpackers, its an old villa, with great interieur, not many beds, only on one floor, with a nice garden. Its like home far from home (even nicer as the flat at home :-) The receptionist is not there at most of the time, but waiting is not bad at that place
