BUG review
Fernbird Backpackers is a tiny hostel down the road from Hahei Beach. There are only two rooms: one twin/share room and a double room. The host family lives on the premises as well, so there’s something of a home stay feeling. Facilities include a shared kitchen and TV lounge. There are big lush gardens in front, with plants and flowers helpfully identified; the backyard has a big silk tree growing in it and there is a very cute patio with a barbecue. Guests have free use of bicycles and body boards.
