Wilderness Backpackers Marks Road, Haast Tel (03) 750 0029 BUG review Wilderness Backpackers is a very well maintained hostel/motel. The clean and brightly coloured dorm rooms have up to five beds each, which are all made up with nice duvets. The bathrooms are brand new and extremely clean. There is a small modern kitchen with lots of appliances, including a pizza oven. All the rooms circle a central atrium with wooden furniture and plants, which acts as the main common area. There are also laundry facilities and internet access. Management are easygoing and friendly, but the atmosphere is very quiet.
