BUG Review
Aquarius is located in the town centre just a two-minute walk from the beach. It has a great layout with an outside bar, three televisions, a pool table and a clay fireplace. They have an internet room ($4 per hour), a large kitchen, laundry and a travel booking agency. The on-site café has a cool veranda and good breakfast. Dorms are all en suite and have rustic lofts, some with comfortable single beds instead of bunks. Nights here can get pretty wild, so don’t come here if you want a good night’s sleep.

Its an awesome place, specially cause its really close to the beach and the city. The rooms are really nice, beds are confortable, and although at night can be a bit too hot, you cant help having a great time there.

The kitchen gets really busy and maybe is not as big as it should be for the amount of people that stay there, but anyway, they run different meals everynight, which sometimes are just better than trying to cook yourself.

Byron Bay is awesome, the aquarius was so close to everything !

We asked for a double on-suite and were pleasantly suprised with what we got - although you do have to go through a dormatory style apartment first as the double room was above that. We had a big bed/nice bathroom with shower/toilet. The t.v was big and we also had a balcony above the pool and bar. The room was more of a swedish chalet - it suited us. There is also a tour desk down by the reception -very helpful.

They have a dvd/tv room also and a laundry.

The Communal Kitchen was quite small for the amount of people that were there - it was clean and they also have a member of staff there to clean up and keep it tidy after the 6.00 dinner rush. Your not meant to eat in your rooms but we took ours up a few times. The room had a fridge and a kettle with free tea/coffee etc. The balcony was nice.

There is a woolworths near the main bus stop and there is plenty of shops near the aquarius also the beach is just up the road.

I would book in advance if you can, it was really busy when we were there. They pick you up from the bus stop, its not far to walk if you have a light backpack/luggage!!
