BUG Review
This is a newish place which is very clean and well maintained. It is centred around a courtyard although there's not much in it except for a couple of picnic tables and a pool table. There's also a games room with table tennis. The kitchen is clean and well equipped and there's a TV lounge with Internet access plus a laundry. Accommodation is very good and is comprised of small dorms and linen is included. Guests have free used of bikes, surfboards, boogie boards and fishing rods.
Price Dorm bed $21-22 Double room $45-55 Prices are in local currency and are inclusive of all taxes.

Realy cosy sort of place, nice pool are and the rooms are small but allright. Very clean, staff are realy helpfull. When i was there there was a construction site across the road so there was a bit of noice, but it's opposite the beach and the best waves on the coast. Came for a holiday ended up moving there for 3 years Realy nice place to stroll.

We have travelled the east coast of Australia over the last 6 months, stayed at many backpackers and this one takes the cake. We can not compare with other parts of Oz. or outside of Oz as we don't have the expearance. Not that there is a lot to do in Cabarita Beach; there are great surfing beaches, fishing, safe swiming, a freashwater lake with conoeing and sailing, a bit of bushwalking and Mt. Warning, where the sun first touches Oz. This is one of those places where you do your own thing, no guided tours up your nose. The hostel is quiet and has atmosphere. Brender and I are both Australias, I don't know if that accounts for anything, this place is our pick. One day turned into two weeks.
