BUG Review
This hostel has a cool, laid-back surfer vibe to it. Dorms are spacious but a bit messy and halls are covered in loud graffiti. The kitchen isn’t much and despite the otherwise good security there are no lockers. But they have a nice courtyard with barbecues, an atmospheric TV lounge and free use of surfboards. The hostel’s location is good and reception staff are hip and fun. It’s a great place to meet people.

The website offers so much and I saw precisely none of it! The staff do nothing to help as they are too busy having fun themselves. It was dirty and overcrowded and seriously overpriced! If you have already booked (Im sorry) but my advise would be to wear flip flops in the shower as it is disgusting. I strongly recommend people NOT to book here, there are other hostels in the same area with a better location, price and staff!

I stayed here for a week and loved it! There are lots of long stay guests and guests who only stay a few nights but everyone is very friendly. Good party nights (punch night was very amusing) giant tv in lounge with all sky channels and you dont have to pay for cutelry which is a bonus... nice sized rooms and evry clean bathrooms...always something to do here, someone to talk to and its right by the beachwould go back!

I stayed in this hostel over christmas 05 for 9 nights. I did not like this hostel as it was VERY LOUD, small bathroom 1 for the whole hostel and cockroach in the dining area. My window was open for the whole stay and could hear people coming and
going, people singing and playing guitar at 2am ish. My room was above the walkway to get in and out of hostel.
There were pizza and punch nightsetc going on in hostel.
People didn't seem to have respect for one another. You could not have an early night even if you wanted one! Stay elsewhere
in Sydney, there are far better ones. Don't stay here. You have been warned.
The only good thing i can say about the hostel is that you can easily meet new people.
