Stratton's Hotel is a pub right in the heart of the city with cheap meals and good value hostel accommodation upstairs. There are around 70 beds and very limited amenities such as a small kitchen (only one microwave and one cooker). The accommodation is clean and quiet but there are no common areas, which mean not much atmosphere as there is nowhere to meet other travellers apart from your dormitory or the bar downstairs.
