Coogee Beach House is a clean hostel that has the usual amenities such as a kitchen, internet access (including Wi-Fi), TV lounge and a barbecue. However some rooms have TVs, which detracts from the atmosphere. Guests have free use of surfboards.

The Beachhouse is clean, friendly, good value and is in an excellent location right by the beach. It has a real homely feel to it. The staff were helpfull and friendly and the 2003 Xmas party was one I'll remember for a long time (well most of it anyway!!) I have been in and around sydney for two months and this is my fave hostel by far.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The staff are very nice, and the breakfast, great. A few long term stayers are there, and everyone mingles on the deck-bbq area. The largest dorm has only 6 beds so it never feels crowded. Its very close to the beach, and the pubs in Coogee, and close to the transport in any direction. All in all a great place to stay. thanks.
