Glebe's a nice part of Sydney and there are plenty of buses to the city centre (or you can walk there in just under an hour). The hostel is well run, as you would expect from a YHA and the facilities are up to scratch. The staff are helpful and everything's in good condition and kept clean. The roof terrace is a bonus and the atmosphere is pretty good for a hostel of this size. The Friday barbecues are a good opportunity to meet fellow guests, but get there early to make sure you get bread and ketchup!

I started at the village hostel next door and couldn't wait to get out of there. Moved quickly to here and didn't look back! The staff are awesome, the place is amazing, Glebe is wonderful and it just all made my stay that much more enjoyable. Lots of people staying long term which you know is a good sign as it must be a great place!
