BUG Review
This is one of the worst hostels in King's Cross. Dorm rooms are small and cluttered, with old beds and no character. Bathrooms are really dirty with mouldy shower curtains and peeling paint. The kitchen is teeny and crowded, with a one-table dining area which doubles as a common room. It seems to cater mostly to Asian travellers and guests don't appear to socialise much, so there's not much of a backpacker atmosphere. The one good point is free internet (though there is only one computer) and wireless access.

I usually like staying in busy/colourful areas when I travel, but Kings Cross, was the absolute dregs.

No integrity or redeeming qualities whatsoever. There were many poor (and emotionally damaged) people and many sick people exploiting them.

If you are mentally sick (like many poor people in KC) and enjoy witnessing and wallowing in human misery, this place will feed your evil need.

Otherwise stay elsewhere and perhaps help those poor people, even if only by making a donation to the charity of your choice.

Don't stay on Darlinghurst road unless you are a drug fucked incurable insomniac. Kings Cross is a horrible horrible place. Only go there packing an uzi.

Food is cheap because it's mush. People are clinicaly insane, and even the whores look like they'd rather be somewhere else...Don't do it man, it's not worth the $15 a

week you'll save in rent.
