BUG Review
Aussie Way is a small quiet hostel in a charming historic home. There's a small fully equipped kitchen, pool table, internet access, swimming pool and a nice balcony overlooking the street. The hostel is located on a quiet residential street close to bars and cafés on nearby Caxton Street and the Transit Centre is a short walk way.

We stayed here in Jan 07. We stayed in the house out the back by the swimming pool. We shared a living room and facilities with one other couple. Our double room was great lots of space in the lounge and kitchen areas. Can not comment on the main house as did not go in there much. It is a bit of a walk in to town but worth it if you can stay in the house by the pool.

This place is great and will always rate as the best hostel in Australia for me! Stayed in a double in the house by the pool and it was fantastic, we ended up staying a week instead of one day! Keep up the good work guys

I stayed here 3 times in my travels totalling 7 months all together and its the most fantastic hostel i've ever stayed at, maybe i'm a bit biased but i met 3 different groups of some of the best friends there, and came to think of it as my second home, theres somthing about the place!.

the house is a lovely well maintained an clean old colonial era thing with verandas and a swimming pool and it has a tv room and the owners seem to make an effort to look after you (though one lady who works there on sat-sun can be difficult). the dorms are only 4 beds and spacious and its on a quiet side street so you can get a kip if you work

caxton street round the corner is a lot more mellow drinking scene than the valley (calypso bar and o learys pub i miss you!)

aussie way rules!
