BUG Review
This hostel is in a nice old colonial home with wraparound verandas on two floors, but inside it is in quite a dismal state. The kitchen is small and messy, the dorms are stuffy and the bathrooms are filthy. There is a TV room with some couches and a backyard barbecue area, but again they are not well maintained. They offer very few facilities and the atmosphere is dull. For the price and the location, it is not really worth it unless it is a last resort.

Pros: Lovely building with loads of places to hang out and chill.
Cons: The bathrooms....

This is a good place to stay of you are looking for somewhere within walking distance of Fortitude Valley and the city but want something quiet to go back to at night. The building itself is gorgeous with a backyard BBQ, shared kitchen & lounge areas were lovely & immaculate and the rooms were spacious and clean with a good air-con system. The shared bathrooms needed a little more attention though, they were quite mouldy and smelly.

In room lockers are a great idea for valuables however our room door could have been shouldered open with very little effort, so didn't feel that safe leaving things there.

Also the free car parking is a bonus... off street and easy to find.
