BUG Review
Dingo Blue is a workers' hostel with most guests on a working holiday. There is no atmosphere and an alcohol ban (except on Saturday nights). The kitchen is absolutely filthy, as are the dorms and the small TV room. There are also no facilities besides a laundry. The reception staff are nice enough, but the entire place is in need of a renovation.

Dorm bed $26 per night, $155 per week

The perfect hostel for anyone that intends to stop in Bundy for a time to do fruit picking. Comfy!, November 12, 2007
Reviewer: Wobbliestross from South Africa

Pros: @ bed and 4 bed dorms, all brand new mattresses. Extremly comfy after a day in the fields.
Cons: that there is always the odd 1 or 2 who dont clean their dishes, but that goes for most hostels

I had a fantastic time at Dingo Blue in Bundy! The place is fairly recently open and unlike most hostels in the town, the beds were extremly comfy and another plus is that you are either in a 2 or 4 bed dorm, all this for probably the cheapest price in town. I found management extremly good and if you had a day off work, they would not hesistate in taking you the beach so that you could enjoy a bit of QLD's golden beaches. A few hostels nearby dont have as many showers and as good kitchen facilities as Dingo Blue has. The weekly FREE Friday night sausage sizzle was a favourite amongst everyone, which came along with $1 cans of beer, not the best beer in the world, but does the trick! I could'nt recommend a better backpackers to anyone!

this place was almost my worst nightmare. the shower rooms were cleaned every 3 days (and believe me they still were filthy) ladies sanitry products were regularly thrown on the floor, there was never toilet roll, the floors were muddy, there was hair everywhere. they rip u off by saying they have work at a certain wage etc, but once u pay the non-refundable stupidly high weekly rate, the story changes, the wages go right down, u have to do everything they say, its crazy. ***EDITED TO COMPLY WITH BUG'S REVIEW GUIDELINES*** are always high on drugs and they let there kids play in the car park (toddlers). this place was the worst ive visited in the whole of oz.
