BUG Review
From the outside this place looks great. Bright orange and green buildings and a good swimming pool set inside a high fence. But the dorms are dirty, dated, and poorly-maintained. They have good new beds, but the rooms are otherwise austere, with old carpet and most have only a fan. The bathrooms have old tiles and some showers need to be replaced. The kitchen is surprisingly good - it is spacious, clean and well equipped. There is no internet access, but they offer free evening meal vouchers and regular shuttle service to town. The atmosphere here is a bit dull relative to the other hostels in Cairns.

i have stayed here before X-mass and new year and the atmosphere is great, had a wicked time apart from that the main chick @ reception is a complete incompetent person, all me tour bookings where not booked properly and the shuttle to the airport was not even booked at all so can't say that was the best experience for me as traveler . but i did had a good time staying there apart from the fact i had to rebook everything myself. the rest off the staff was great. thanks for they hospitality simon and tracy.
