BUG Review
This is where you go to really escape. The only activities here are bushwalks, some water sports and sunbathing. Otherwise, curl up with a book in one of the hammocks or get to know your neighbours in the tent cabin next door. There are a few standard dorms, some large canvas tents, a clean kitchen and plenty of time. It's a great place for the outdoorsy types, but not for night owls. The bathroom fittings are quite old, but otherwise it is well maintained. The management are good humoured and easygoing and guests have free use of snorkelling gear.

Price
Dorm bed $33 (after 3 nights, $30 each night for entire stay)
Tent $58 ($53 after 3 nights)
Double/twin room or tent $80 ($75 after 3 nights)

Prices are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of all taxes.

Stayed on two occasions in 2003 & 2004 & will certainly return in the future. The tents are far better than the basic dorm. Exploring the island is a must - go further than main beach, long beach & putney beach. Make sure you take as much food as you can as supplies are limited (& expensive on the island).
