BUG Review
This is the only hostel on North Stradbroke Island and is mainly focused on the Manta Dive Centre, offering tours and PADI certification. It is usually a very quiet place, as most travellers come here on the weekends for diving. The dorms are very plain, but have comfortable beds and plenty of space. The shared bathrooms are a bit grimy. The common room has big plush couches perfect for lounging after a long day at the beach and the kitchen is clean and well equipped. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful. The location just off the beautiful Cylinder Beach is nice.

Anyone who comes here will DEFINATELY book extra nights. The dorms are great. Quiet and clean. The staff are young and friendly. Shane who works there makes sure everyone has a good time. When we couldn't swim one day because of the rough sea, he took a few of us on a free 4 wheel drive along Main Beach. The barbecue was excellent value, and it's very sociable... you can't help but meet people there. It's literally about 10 seconds away from the beach and the island is beautiful. Unfortunately I've got a plane to catch or I would be back there like a shot. The owners are great. Thanks for a brilliant time.

Very friendly and clean hostel. Staff were very helpful. Quiet location which was great to recharge the batteries. Large kitchen and BBQ area. There is a club and a hotel in easy walking distance and a shop close by. The pub has the most amazing view and good atmosphere. Beaches were beautiful and plentiful but don't forget the sunscreen. I will be back

We booked in for one night and stayed a week. The staff were great and very helpful with tour bookings etc. Nice clean rooms and amenities. Beautiful beaches only minutes away and close to several clubs and hotel. The diving was great and I saw my first Manta Ray which is one of the highlights of my trip so far. If time permits I will be returning to hopefully catch the whales going through in Winter.
