BUG Review
This hostel is the party spot in Rainbow Beach. It can be loud at night, but the dorms are air conditioned, very clean, and up-to-date. The swimming pool is good, and the airy TV room with a bar is always crowded with young backpackers coming from or going to Fraser Island. The kitchen is cramped and messy, but there are plans renovate it soon. There is a tropical pool and an outside gazebo where many backpackers also like to hang out. They offer free pancake breakfasts and $5 dinners, as well as internet ($5 per hour) and free use of body boards.

There is enough to do in Rainbow beach if only you would take the time to find it! The beach is beautiful, you can surf , do a whale tour, kayak with dolphins, skydive, dive, go to the lookout point by 4wheel drive, where you can see dolpins, manta rays, turtles and sometimes whales and more. So dont say there's nothing to do there unless you know what you are talking about!

Dingos offers a good package for a 4WD-Fraser Island and 2 nights (one before, one after) accommodation in Rainbow Beach. The tour is good, they provide food and are not very strict with the cars. The hostel is crowded, and there is only one stove for more than 100 people (they want you to buy their dinner!). There is a bar and free pancake-breakfast, but only between 7am and 7.30! Don't stay there longer, there's nothing to do in Rainbow Beach!
