BUG Review
This small, dirty hostel has serious maintenance issues and minimal facilities. The kitchen is bare and common areas are messy. Dorms all en suite bathrooms, but they are old and falling apart. They do offer free internet and pub crawls and there is a nice swimming pool, but that's about it. They cater mostly to Asian backpackers. Reception staff are friendly.

Double room $52-72

Prices are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of all taxes.

Reception Open

Having spent the last year travelling around Oz this is the worst hostel we have stayed in. We had to walk through a 12 bed dorm to get to our twin room. The walls of the dorm were covered with porn and it was filthy and smelt disgusting. The kitchen is tiny, bathrooms dirty and not enough of them. Definitely not recommended.

Staying in this backpackers for over a few months, I found it to be some of the best days of my life. Theres never a dull moment, always some exciting goss hapening. Couple O Days is like another world hidden amongst the tall sky scapers of Surfers Paradise. It may not have the best appearance, but you sure do feel at home, making many friends, who feel like family. Definantly a place to go if you want to experience something different. Big Dave and Susi will look after you like members of the "couple o days" family.

Never actually got to stay at the hostel as we were double booked. Had reserved the last available twin room for the Indy weekend for myself and my boyfriend, but when I turned up they wanted to put us in the girls dorm! Very disappointed as there were no hostel rooms left in the whole of Surfers and we had to go back to Brisbane. If you've booked this hostel double check you're getting what you think you are.

This place is definatly not the ritz. But the people are genuine and teh atmosphere was great. If you go with an open mind and dismiss the cosmetics of the place youll have a ball. Perfect place to take your guitar, enjoy the friendly faces and get back to the basics. Love Ya Work Suzie!!! and for gods sake keep clear of those spiders in the shower. he he he

When we arrived here we were not greeted by staff at all, in fact, it took us 2 hrs to find the receptionist, who was "Just taking a break!". We had our wallets stolen after the first night, and our food became Roach infected!Steer Clear at all costs
