BUG Review
My Place is a good hostel with the usual laundry, Internet access, kitchen and TV room. The dorms are air conditioned and equipped with good beds and mattresses and the house is clean and well-maintained. The range of facilities isn’t amazing, but it’s a comfortable place to stay, and the atmosphere isn’t bad. The showers aren’t sex segregated, but they have lockable doors so privacy is not a problem.

Had a double room here and for some reason people have to talk right outside your door at 6am! it doestnt help having a room 1 inch away from reception and the main entry door - a real poor hostel - dont pay anything if you are given the rooms downstairs! you will never sleep! the dorms are probably ok - this is not good for couples

This place is an absolute gem. I stumbled accross it by accident, not really expecting more than a bed for the night, in the end however, not evne the four nights I spent there were enough!The owner is extremely friendly and helpful and staying at My Place is more liek sharing a flat with a massive group of friends than actually being in a hostel! I got to know more decent people in this one hostel than I did accross the whole of Australia! The social nights really help you get to know everyone too, top marks for the pizza and DVD night aswell as the trip out to a jazz club.Social areas (kitchen, lounge and balcony) are all spotless and well kept. There was an extensive list of free DVD's and Foxtel in the lounge also, so even when stuck at the hostel there's something to do. The rooms were a little on the small side, but when the beds are pretty much the most comfortable in Australia, who cares! Security is first class also.The location is good, on a quiet street just a short walk from the city centre. I really don't have a bad word to say about My Place - if you're visiting Adelaide then stay here, you really will not be disappointed.

my place is a great place to stay very comfortable and a nice athmosphare. its very clean and have nice beedrooms just everything what you needed. i had a great time met a lot of people and had lots of fun. the owner there she is realy friendly and help you if you needed.

This hostel is brilliant. The staff are friendly and the atmoshpere is great. Especially the pizza and DVD night and the balcony. One of the only airconditioned and heated hostels. Definitely the best in Adelaide. Stayed in some pretty bad ones (particularly East Park Lodge and Blue Galah). Wanted to stay only for a couple of nights but ended up staying for 3 weeks. Will be coming back on my way through

This hostel is definitely one of the best I have stayed in Australia and absolutely the best in Adelaide. I originally stayed in a couple in Adelaide but My Place is the best. The atmoshpere is great, very cosy and I've met some fantastic people. The staff are really friendly too. I ended up staying for 4 weeks. Really good activities and helped me out with advice on tours too. Overall I had the best time here out of all hostels in Australia and made my stay in Oz
