I was a bit cautious about staying here after i read their 1st review but i had a prepaid booking so i had no choice.im glad i did because it was really friendly and clean.I found the showers to be clean and tidy and they looked new.The dorms were airconditioned and they had lockers in them plus really spacious. The kitchen had recently been restocked with new pots pans and cutlery so i didnt find any issues there either.Maybe they should only hand pots and pans out to guests because i noticed someone stealing a couple of plates early one morning and putting them intop his backpack.I realy appreciate the architecture of older buildings so i wasnt frightened by the high ceilings and ornate rooms

Disappointing hostel, not at all like it looks on the website. The free internet is always busy, the kitchen has no utensils and is really dirty. Really shabby dorms and bathrooms also grubby and worn out. Needs some TLC... don't be fooled by the fact it's apparently Adelaides newest hostel, it looks ancient!!! Also 9.30 check out. Some of the staff were friendly at least!
