BUG Review
This hostel’s bland exterior doesn’t do much for this place, but once inside it is a surprisingly good hostel. It is in an old CWA hall and the easiest way to find the place is to look for the prominent CWA sign outside as a small blackboard with the name of the hostel scrawled on it is the only indication that it is now a hostel. The interior of the hostel has been recently renovated with jarrah hardwood floors, brand new dorms (with new bunks) and brand new bathrooms. Shared facilities include the usual kitchen, laundry and TV lounge.

Price
Dorm bed $25 per night, $130 per week
Prices are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of all taxes.

TV lounge Kitchen Laundry

amazing place to stay, i can be very fussy even when it comes to travelling around the world with a pack on my back, but this place was great! the staff made it, its a family business and has been for many years so they know how to look after you, give advice and be polite to the few idiots that you always bump into along the way. close to all shops in the beautifull country town, breathtaking views of the river and stretches of land. i met lots of friends here as most end up staying a few months, great place to get a second w h visa and everyone was so nice as you are all in the same place in life generally. bbq's are held and once you get to know everyone you generally all sit around the table together chatting and eating your cheap dinners of noodels and veggies! there is also a dvd card which makes it easy to relax after work, like a home away from home. i stayed for 4 months last year and did loads, i had a great job which enabled me to save for my flight back to scotland withing 3 weeks, there was the annual hot air balloon show and many cruises along the river, as well as beer and a football at the riverbanks with close friends i met. if you want a place to stay that has a warm and inviting atmosphere and is very clean then stay here, if not enjoy your travels wherever you go.
