BUG Review
The Backpacker Hub (also known as Andy's Backpackers and Tamar Backpackers) is located above bar/restaurant and gelati shop near the Boag's Brewery. The bar and restaurant on the ground floor are really nice but the accommodation upstairs is very basic with no common areas (apart from the bar) to speak of. Basically it's just accommodation above a pub.

Nice warm welcome when I strolled through the doors, had a drink at the bar as they booked me in for the weekend. Saved me a few phone calls by doing all my tour bookings so that was kool

The rooms are really well spead out, not use to having room to put my bag down & not need to climb over it to get in bed!

A couple of blocks down & your in town centre, had a good night out & still managed to make my tour booking in the morning. They arrange a pick up from the front door for you so it couldnt be easier.

They were finishing up the renovations just as I left so Its probaly gonna look pretty sweet by the time I come back through there on my travels.

Stayed at this Hostel on a weekend when they run a wood fired pizza nights in the Gelato bar and it was a great couple of nights with lots happening. Great facilities with the bigest kitchen I have seen.Free airport pickup was a bonus also
