This is a nice clean hostel and is better than many other hostels which are set in caravan parks. It is made up of four self-contained units, each with an ensuite. There are two family rooms, plus two dorm rooms. Communal facilities are rather limited though, with a basic kitchen and common room. The hostel is located within a caravan park on the shores of Lake Eildon, 5km from the centre of Bonnie Doon. There are two buses a day between Melbourne and Bonnie Doon in the summer with extra buses in winter. Buses stop 5km away in Bonnie Doon, although some buses in winter may be able to drop you off closer to the hostel. The location is a little inconvenient if you don't have you own set of wheels.
