This is a big, clean 380-bed hostel right in the heart of the city centre near the Melbourne Central shopping centre and the Queen Victoria Market. It's at the corner of Elizabeth and Franklin Streets, with the entrance on Franklin Street. Common areas include a big dining/TV room with a courtyard and a big kitchen. Accommodation consists of new furnishings and the security is excellent with key card access and lockers in the rooms.
