Budget, but not particularly brilliant., October 29, 2007

Pros: Affordability, private bathrooms, mostly clean.
Cons: Rickety stairs, occasional bedbugs and a strong smell of cleaning materials.

Average all around, for this one. There's nothing really bad about it - the rooms lock, there's a private bathroom for each dorm, they're mostly clean and it's cheap. But it's just a whole lot of little things that bring this down.

The horrible squeaky and narrow stairs. The all-pervading smell of cleaning materials (a friend who went there later said that that's since been changed). A lack of instructions from the staff - it took a good bit of exploring to find all the kitchen facilities. And the much-promised television not only had horrible reception, but didn't even recieve the ABC!

The cost was fine, but I probably wouldn't stay there again - it felt miserable.
