BUG Review
Olembia is classier and more upmarket than the other St Kilda hostels and it is a good choice if you want to stay in St Kilda but prefer something quieter. It appeals to couples and older backpackers. Olembia's facilities include a fully equipped kitchen and a nice lounge room with lots of magazines (but no TV). Most dorms only have three beds.

Double/twin room $80

Excellent place to stay, really comfy and cosy which was great as we stayed in autumn. The reception staff were great and organised everything for us to arrive after reception was closed. The rooms were really nice, clean and very much like a guesthouse. There is a nice cosy lounge area where we got to meet lots of the guests. The kitchen is also pretty big and there is lots of food storage space. Overall a really great place to stay!

This hostel is a real treat, a home away from home. It is more like a guesthouse than a hostel with immaculate bathrooms, and 3 bed dorms with super comfy beds!

The staff are friendly and helpful although not available at some times during the day.

Olembia seems to attract older travellers and famalies so it is definately not a place to stay if you're looking to party!

Stayed here for a week at the end of my trip to victoria and it was a great last minute choice.

The rooms are lovely as it is a guesthouse and not a hostel - but it is good value for money if there are 2 of you sharing a room.

The staff seemed really friendly and were amazingly helpful to me.

The bathrooms are gorgeous - which is really important to me, and everything is lovely and clean.

Olembia is around 5 mins walk from Acland St and St Kilda beach so its in a nice location too!
