BUG Review
This brilliant purpose-built hostel has a high standard of facilities, which include a cosy TV lounge, a good kitchen, a barbecue area and a nice restaurant. It is a clean and well maintained hostel and the overall atmosphere is great with photos of crop circles on the walls and sculptured orange trees in the garden.

A wonderful find - clean big rooms, lovely lounge with very comfy couches, and loads of books on the book exchange. A kitchen with enough room to cook in (and utensils to cook with!) and extra touches like loads of herbs and spices to use, tea (herbal as well) and coffee, and a never ending supply of clean and dry tea towels.

Best of all, friendly owners and friendly people staying there.

I stayed two nights here and could easily have spent a much longer time. And the tour to the pinnacles with Mike is brillant - well worth doing.

Stayed at this hostel just one night, but it was well worth the stopover. I've spoken to a few people who missed staying at Cervantes as they were advised there was nothing to do in the town. Sure it's a tiny town, but that's its appeal. Taking a day out to relax, read a book and generally chill out was just what I needed. The Pinnacles are definately worth a look. If you're travelling Greyhound a tour is included in your kilometre pass. It was well worth staying the night at the hostel and doing the tour in the morning after a good nights sleep. There are connecting buses that enable you to arrive early in the morning, do the tour and leave later that day without staying at Cervantes. I would strongly advise against doing this. There were a few people on our tour who took this option and they were so sleepy, having to leave Kalbarri at 1am the night before and travel all night, that they didnt get nearly as much out of the Pinnacles as the rest of us. And plus, they missed out on a great little hostel.
