Filthy fridge, otherwise clean. Dull, no common area to meet new people, if you're alone!!!
9 August 2008

Pros: Good location, very close to the main shopping street ( Mariahilferstrasse) and the Museums quarter
Cons: FILTHY fridge. No kitchen, no common area, very small rooms.

This hostel is ok, if you're travelling with someone and wish not to socialize with other travellers: there's no common area, just small rooms, and I actually spent my nights alone in a room for six people!! Moreover, this hostel will do if you wish not to cook, or keep any stuff in the fridge.. the hostel is otherwise quite clean, but the fridge.. whoah.. it was very full, containing food from the last year(s) or so: moldy fruit, broken beer bottles etc.. Don't put your food in there or you might get some life-threatening disease!!!

The woman working in the front desk spoke very bad English and didn't seem friendly at all. The young guy (who is probably her son) was much nicer and even smiled occasionally. The hostel "front desk`` is in another building than the actual rooms, so it's not very cosy or anything.. they keep a hostel for the money. And it shows. The internet costs 2 euros for twenty minutes, which is a rip-off. They also charge you for luggage storage, which is something that I have never encountered in other hostels (and I've been to many, trust me
