My friend and I booked Hostel 47 online a couple months before our trip to Ghent. Youri was very helpful and confirmed the booking with us. We stayed for 10 days or so.
Right from the moment we arrived, the staff was super friendly, and it was immediately noticeable that the hostel was not only very clean, but very stylish.
Youri went out of his way to help guide us to some fun places, and also made it very easy for us to store our bikes.
The room we stayed in (2 person bunk) was very comfortable and clean. There are lockers to keep your valuables safe, and strategically placed plug ins to keep the phone and ipod charged!
The showers and bathrooms are very clean and the place is generally quite quiet.
All in all, a gem of a place that is centrally located in Ghent.
Would stay there again in a second!!!

Excellent hostel, I had a wonderful stay here. I can't recommend it enough! If you are going to travel to Ghent stay in hostel 47, simple as.

Perfect location near to the historical citycentre. Only a 5 minutes walk.
We booked a room voor 3persons but we got a 5personsroom because there weren't much guests.
The beds are great and we slept very well!
Good prices and very friendly staff. We could ask anything and they told some nice places to go.
Breakfast was a little to simple. Not a lot of choice.
This hostel is very new and looks absloutely great! Sleek, contemporary design. Nice and warm showers.
When you want to visit Gent, you really should visit this hostel!
