One of the worst places I have ever stayed. The staff were rude and unhelpful, with one particular instance standing out - there was a hole in the wall before we had arrived. It had even been painted over, so it was clear that the staff recognised it was there. The young man working there then proceeded to accuse us of making it, poking his finger in the hole and pulling to make it three times as big and then charged us for it. He is a disgrace to humanity.

There was little to no service for the weekend that we were there and just some of the cons were:

We ordered chicken and booked the table. When we got there it then took them the best part of an hour to move the chicken from the microwave to our table.

There were no plugs in the room, so if you wanted to charge any electrical equipment, you would have to leave it outside in the hallway where anybody could take it.

No food or drinks were allowed in the rooms - they were treating us like children and I personally felt very insulted.

The cleaners came round at the end of the weekend and forced us to sweep our own rooms and the hallway. Surely that is there job?

The sheets were dirty, disgusting and had holes in them. Really summed up the whole place.

My friend has unfortunately already booked to stay there in a few weeks, so I will get him to post his opinion on the hostel.

This hostel was an absolute disgrace, i wouldnt take a tramp there, i would have rather slept outside under our bus if i could of got out after 2am (which i couldnt) the rooms were filthy, the staff did next to nothing all week except try and make us clean our rooms at the end of the week when they were in a better condition then when wed found them. The food was basic and no complaints there except for the dishes were dirty. You get what you pay for but in this case you realy don't, i am surprised they don't pay the guest to stay there. The toilet was frequently broken and for the first day the mens showers were locked so our football team had to go into the females (lucky them). A member of staff damaged the wall outside one of our rooms and subsequently stole our deposit. The one day we did dare to eat we had to wait over an hour to recieve the bloody thing, by the time it arrived my stomach had digested itself but eventually the greasy cook decided to show up and the meal was adequate but overpriced. I would advise to bring your own bedding, unless you would like to use the blankets provided which as you would excpect from this place had ejaculation fluids all over it, my mattress had writing from the previous guests which i enjoyed reading when i couldnt get to sleep on the 3 nights due to thinking about what i was sleeping in, a cest pitt of shit. This isn't a lie, save your money and bring a tent, as for the town itself not bad.
