The hostel is run by two awsome english dudes, they offer super friendly service that attracts loads of really friendly people. They will bend over backwards to help you out and make you feel welcome! If their not free to talk then you can always hang out with one of the many travellers caught by the good weather and easy atmosphere. As for the location theres not much to say apart from that it rocks. The hostel its self is in a small village that allows you to relax and re-cooperate from your travels or a place to come and hang out and party harder than your body wants to let you. The hostel is by far the best place we have stayed in and we all really enjoyed our trip. Warning however you WILL stay longer then you expect we booked for 3 nites and stayed for a week!! In short; nowhere better on the Black Sea Coast !! Oh, and Patrick...we love ya man!!! - Guy taught how to Harpoon Fish.. all can be arranged from the Hostel

In combined six months of travelling I have stayed in many hostels, in over 20 countries. None have come close to the hospitality, friendly attitude, or exceptional management displayed at GREGORY'S BACKPACKERS Hostel. It combines both cleanly efficientcy with a relax attitude that makes for a true Balkan vacation experience. Don't let the fact that it's a few KMs outside of Varna disway you. Taxis are cheap, the bus is even cheaper and the staff is more than will to drive you back and forth from town.

Run by a young english couple who know exactly what a backpacker wants. A lounge with leather sofas and hundreds of films. A well decorated lively bar which closes after the last man standing leaves. Its a fair distance out of the city but thats part of the charm. Seeing donkeys pulling carts and old men drinking quietly in the village square. They also put on a free minibus into the centre in the morning and return trip in the afternoon. If you´re getting a bit bored with the whole museum thing then this is a great place to experience something different and recuperate. They have great cheap day trips like harpooning too!!
