There is a hotel (Hotel Dujam), in the same building, but the hostel part is one separate floor that is actually a college dorm (not part of the hotel) so is only open mid-July to mid-Sept when the students are away. It is really nice and clean, every room is 2 single beds (not bunk beds), with closets, and desks, is very spacious, and you'll share with just one other person (I was alone and they put me with another female), and super-cheap for a resort town - just
$18/night. There are very clean and large separate m/f bathrooms down the hall with 4-5 toilets and 3-4 showers. There is no a/c. The front desk staff - it is staffed by the hotel- is very helpful and speak excellent English. There
is also a kitchen which has a fridge and maybe a microwave and stove (didn't cook so I'm not 100% sure about that). There is a laundry service that you can arrange through the front desk that will wash/dry/IRON/fold for $5 a
load. Location is a quick and easy bus ride or a 20 minute walk to the riva (waterfront/Diocletian's palace). Since it is a college dorm, it is kind of industrial feeling, not a homey-hostel, but is an excellent, inexpensive choice in an excellent city!
