There is a pool, bar-b-que, free drop off and collection in centre of Split, well friendly hosts

My girlfriend and I have stayed here a few times whilst travelling around Croatia and on a special return trip for a long weekend. The hosts, Ann and Glynn are cool and are seasoned travellers themselves so they know what they are doing.
Nothing is too much hassle for them, prices are more than fair and the pool is wicked.
What else can I say, If you are going to Split, exploring the islands or just passing through, do yourselves a favour and stay here. If you are still not sure, Google kamena lodge and read other peoples reviews.
