The cheapest accomodation in Karlovy Vary. Acceptable apartments in a remote house., December 20, 2007
Reviewer: travelzoo from Hungary

Pros: price, it is like a little flat
Cons: apartements are in a remote, abandoned house, getting the keys is difficult

For the price it is nice enough, especially in Karlovy Vary (Beside this hostel there mostly are expensive 4 star hotels). It is appropriate for groups of 4 and less. The apartment has bedroom, bathroom, toilet, a big kitchen, and a parlor. The apartment was newly renovated. In the kitchen we could find all the devices necessary for cooking basic meals. However, the apartment is in a remote house that seemed to be abandoned. Finally we figured out that we might get the key from the reception of the four star hotel at the corner of the street. It was not easy to prove at the hotel reception that they should have the keys for the low-cost apartments. Finally, we managed to get the keys. (It took us 3 hours.) When we entered the house it turned out that the lighting was completely out in the staircase and no sign of use could be seen. When we entered the apartment itself we were satisfied with that. In summary, it is worth the money but you have to be very smart to find the hotel and to get the keys.
