Nice and cosy hostel not so far from the city centre. The staff is nice. You can get the key from a landlady living in a house situated in the street more or less below the hostel.

I would highly recomend this hostel for anyone. One of the best hostels I've stayed at.

Chesky Krumlov is probably the nicest town I've been too, this hostel makes it an even more enjoyable experience.

This place was one of the best hostels I stayed in. The staff are very friendly with loads of information about what's going on in Krumlov. I arrived on my own but always had people of chat to or to go out with.

If you want a sociable place to stay in Krumlov, this is the place. It caters equally for those who want to hit the beers and those who just want to curl up with a good book.

Can't fault it. Stay here!

Really cosy, homely hostel with friendly managers/hosts. Hostel managers have a book with heaps of suggestions of things to do too. Great location in the Old Town, and great kitchen facilities. The downstairs shower needs better drainage though.

This Hostel was my favorite during my trip. Not only is it a great Value (less than $10 US) but it is rally cosy, has a great kitchen, and I met the most laid back people of my trip here (guests and staff alike). The staff is really helpful, the town is magnificent, and the location is perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything better

this was the most amazing place of our whole trip. we really found our feet here because this hostel turns everyone nice. there's such a warm atmosphere here. everyone was so friendly and the hostel was so lovely and clean. the management couldn't possibly have been any nicer or more helpful.

the house looks a bit shabby from the outside so upon arrival we didn't know what to expect but inside it just oozes character. a beautiful carved door, a comfortable living room, a cozy kitchen, i can't reccommend it enough.

we stayed in the upstairs quad room.a beautiful wooden room in the converted attic of the house with a velux window that looks out over cesky krumlov.we were supposed to stay 4 nights and ended up staying 7 and i could've stayed more.

the management give you a great map with lovely restaurants and all amenities marked. really handy and such a simple idea! i'd reccommend the two marys bohemian platter, the water pipe at the tea house and breakfast at hostel 99. unlike any of the bigger hostels, krumlov house staff will know your name!

its so peaceful here at night too so you can do all your partying and then fall into bed, or just relax at night and chat or read. there's a book swapping cabinet which is really handy if you're traveling.

great location too as its in town but not too near the tourist areas so its peaceful and quiet but under 5 mins walk from everything.i can' wait to go back!!!

Fantastic little hostel (converted bakery), we had the downstairs room which used to be the oven entry. Room was complete with clean toilet and shower.

Staff were friendly.

Dont often stay at hostels but would not hesitate with this one, and is much better than a lot of hotels.

And I can't agree more. I stayed for 3 nights but wished it was 30. Something told me this place was special when the door opened and one of the managers said, "you must be Brian." The location is a bit outside of the center, but Cesky Krumlov is not a sprawling metropolis. Instead of having a 2 minute walk to the center it is 3, not a big deal. The kitchen is the best hostel kitchen I have ever seen. A grocery store just up the street and a staff that knows everything you could want to know about what to do in Cesky Krumlov. Krumlov House is not a party place, there isn't a bar and they don't blast music constantly. It is literally like one of your friends had a kind big place and decided to let all their buddies stay there, that is how I felt all weekend. The only "crisis" all weekend was when a dutch guy in my dorm brought a young lady back from the bar. The staff dealt with this swiftly and we laughed about it all weekend.

Stay here, you won't be disappointed guaranteed.

This is the best place in the whole world!! Seriously, the town is gorgeous and this hostel is great. We had a double in the basement with our own bathroom - not a lot of money and crazy cute. Staff was awesome (made us all cookies!) and the other backpackers were great. Good book trade. Lovely hand drawn map of town provided with all important sights marked. Did not want to leave and can't wait to return!
