Quite a way from the city centre, but there are regular buses and it is walkable. The 'rooms' are actually squares of MDF held together with string and sellotape. Its ok for one or two nights though and the staff are friendly and helpful.

This is a perfectly nice clean and safe hostel about 45 mins walk from the station (or take the bus). It's in a lovely area of Copenhagen. You will be sleeping a large hall of 300 people (divided into little rooms) but was surprisingly quiet at night when we stayed. The only major problem is the heat - there are no windows and it was like a sauna. Most people found it very difficult to sleep and some were checking out early because of it. Don't go here when it's warm outside!

Big warehouse, bunk sleeping (think train sleeping compartments). Lots of high school students from sweden. It looked like the lounge area could be fun (if busy) and the courtyard is a nice place to sit for a little bit on a sunny day. Overall recommended, but I would be curious to check out the other places in town to see how they stack up.

I stayed here in Feb. 2002 and found it to be quite accomadating. The dorm room is simply an old warehouse with bunk beds stacked in it but it is not nearly as bad as it seems. The staff was incredibly friendly and were always eager to help out. Plus, the common room / lounge is a great hang out spot and a good way to meet some of the other backpackers. They even had a Danish version of the boardgame Risk, which thrilled the hell out of my friends and me. Overall, a nice hostel with a good location. Recommended.

It's decently central to København centrum, only a short bus ride run the main train station. It is a little hard to find, but getting there isn't impossible. The bar is decently priced, and it's open year round without a curfew. If you don't have sheets or a sleeping bag you rent both, so it costs about 25 canadian dollars a night. All in all it was allright, especially for winter travelers.

The place was quite well organized, clean and comfortable. At first the dormitory seemed very big, but fortunately it was quiet and the beds were really nice. Good and free lockers with deposit, also. Cost about 11USD during summer 2001.
