Stayed 2 nights in this hostel in April 2005, while walking in Exmoor. Hostel extremely easy to find, and village shops and post office only about 5' away. Staff very friendly, know the region and the coastpaths, and bills the weather forecast on the noticeboard if you ask. Nice rooms, showers + toilets OK. Huge English breakfast! Poss to order dinner at the hostel, locally grown products, and dishes very tasty: really value for money Also a bench to sit in order to pull off one's muddy boots at the entrance: very nice for walkers. Lovely garden with a brook: watch out for the birds in the morning! My biggest surprise was the guests' kitchen: it it the most roomy and convenient one I've ever seen in a hostel!
