First of all this hostel is in a great setting on top of the cliffs, it was I am told a old coastguard station so you would expect the views to be excelent, indeed it is a fantastic view.

If you are into meditation you will find this place inspiring in that it is within the Merlin legend one of the places to visit.

The hostel itself was basic with all you need to have a good nights crash and cook a meal and be warm. Bring your own drinks as it it a 1 mile walk to the pub

I was told this is one of the YHA Voluteer run hostels so in many ways it is very lacking in that personal touch of resident wardens and when I was there I thought the person running it was rather snooty and out of place, but I am laid back when traveling.

But overall its good for a 1 night stay but i think with better managment this hostel would be a fantastic place well worth a longer visit.
