BUG Review
There are several bunkhouses on this working farm, which is a good half-hour walk from Hathersage, and you need to bring all your food and a sleeping bag (though they keep a few for loan). The cost is low and the bunkhouses are well but simply equipped with kitchens and bunkrooms and comfortable common rooms without TV. You won't be sharing a building with a large group, but you might be on your own. If there are several of you with a car you can have a great time here.

I could write pages of depressingly descriptive prose to conjure up the filth, and backward attitude of the place, but that would involve dwelling on my stay there for longer than neccessary. Worse than most 3rd world accomodation i've experienced. We had booked a long weekend with friends, but left in the morning after the first night, forfeiting all money paid for a group of ten. The family got very aggressive when we asked for any kind of refund.Stay away at all costs.
