BUG Review
The bright yellow building is decorated with murals and it has a great atmosphere. There is a TV lounge near the reception and another downstairs with a pool table. However the carpet is filthy and the place could be kept much cleaner.

DON'T book a seaview room at The Grapevine Seafront (formerly Brighton Backpackers)! All you can use it for is to leave your luggage there, and it's 40 pounds per person per night. The view is nice, the room and facilities are clean, true. But you won't be able to go to sleep in there. The nice looking restaurants / bars under your window will turn on their sound systems in the evening at incredible volume levels, and it feels like lying directly in a nightclub rather than in bed. A spotlight shining right into your window is inculded as well. And when the music finally is turned off, you'll be able to enjoy the conversations of those lovely party people who refuse to go home... Ok, then you might finally get an hour of sleep or two, but then people are coming back to have breakfast and sit outside under your window and the traffic increases again, so... If that's enough for you, and worth 40 quid ppn go for it, but anyone who wants to sleep in a rented room as well... thats the wrong place for you! A complete waste of money. The staff wasn't particularly friendly as well and I cant say anything about the included breakfast (from 8-9), but you'll miss it anyway.
