We have stopped at the Barnstead many times over the last few years and have had many great holidays and short breaks there.

We have stopped in both the Stable ( self-catering accomodation for up to 6 ) and the bunkhouse and both are clean and comfortable.

The location is suitable for a wide range of outdoor activities. Ingleton is the centre for Dales caving with many classic pot-holes and caves to explore for both experienced and novice alike. Out of the door there are many cycling routes available from easy quiet country lanes to more testing off-road challenges.

The site is well managed and suitable for young children with space to play and chickens to feed. The owners are always pleasant and knoledgeable about the local area.

We would certainly recommend the Barnstead.
