York Backpackers is in an old building with lots of character. It features a bar in the basement with a brilliant atmosphere plus a cosy TV lounge. It is an excellent choice for backpackers visiting York.

We stayed in this hostel over the weekend, so probably it was a bit noisier than usual. The staff are really friendly and helpful, the only complaint was that they had their mates round for a bit of a session on the Saturday night and we had to get up for the early greyhound on Sunday!! Not much to do in Karratha itself though.
